This policy explains what we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and who we share it with. It covers this website, our quote forms, and the lead forms we run on Facebook and Instagram. 4Pt Punchlist is a name used by Justin & Stephanie Jones, Inc.

What we collect

What you give us. When you ask for a quote we collect your name, mobile number, email address, and the city the property is in. We also collect what you tell us about the job: whether you are the owner or seller, a real estate professional, a buyer or investor, or a contractor or trade; whether you need 4-point repairs, permitting help, or both; your deadline; and, on permitting requests, the permit situation and whether you want the permit and the work or the permit only. Anything you type into a description field comes to us as you wrote it.

On permitting requests you are asked to confirm that the work will be performed under our license by us or by a trade we contract. We keep a dated record of that confirmation in your contact record, in the words shown to you.

What we collect automatically. Like most sites, we log your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site or ad that sent you, and the identifiers advertising platforms attach to a click. We use cookies and similar technologies for this, described below.

What we get from advertising platforms. If you fill in a lead form on Facebook or Instagram rather than on this site, Meta sends us the answers you gave there.

When you call. Calls to our office may be logged with the number you called from and notes about what you need.

Why we use it

To answer you, quote the work, schedule it, and do it. To pull and manage permits, which requires giving your information to the building department. To meet the record keeping our licenses, insurance and tax obligations require. To measure which advertising produces real work, so we spend less on advertising that does not. And to send you service updates about a job you asked us to do.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We do not disclose customer lists to third parties for their own marketing, advertising or fundraising.

We share what is necessary with the following, and no more than is necessary: the building department or other jurisdiction handling your permit; the licensed trades and subcontractors performing your work; GoHighLevel, which hosts the customer records this site writes to; Google, for site analytics and advertising measurement; Meta, for advertising measurement and lead forms; Cloudflare, which hosts this website; and our accountants, insurers and attorneys where they need it.

Permit records are public. When we pull a permit, the property address, the scope of work and the contractor of record become part of the jurisdiction’s public record. That is a requirement of permitting, not a choice we make.

We will also release information where the law requires it, or where we believe in good faith that it is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, our employees or the public.

Calls, texts and email

When you submit a quote request you agree that we may call, text and email you about that request. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text to stop them and HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying anything from us. We do not sell or share mobile numbers with third parties for their own marketing, and consent to receive texts from us is never transferred to anyone else.

Cookies and your advertising choices

This site uses Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and the Meta pixel. They set cookies so those platforms can tell that a visit, a form fill or a phone call came from a particular ad. We do not use them to build a profile of you beyond that.

We also run our own measurement, served from track.4ptpunchlist.com rather than by an outside platform. It stores a random identifier in your browser and records which page you landed on, which site or ad sent you, and whether you tapped a phone number, so we can tell which advertising produced real work. It is not shared with any advertising platform, it carries no name, email or phone number, and your IP address is stored only as an irreversible hash, never in the clear.

You can control this. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies from their settings. Google offers an opt-out at adssettings.google.com and a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Meta offers ad controls in your account settings under Ads. Clearing your browser storage for this site removes our own identifier. Blocking any of these will not stop you using any part of this site.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and job records for as long as we need them to do the work and to meet the record keeping our licenses, insurance, warranty and tax obligations require, and after that for as long as a dispute could reasonably arise. Permit records held by a jurisdiction are outside our control and are kept under that jurisdiction’s own rules. You can ask us to delete what we hold that we are not required to keep.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you for marketing. Call or email us using the details below and tell us which. We will not charge you for it or treat you differently for asking.

You can also decline to give us information in the first place. You can browse the whole site without filling in anything. We cannot quote a job without a way to reach you.

Security

This site is served over an encrypted connection and quote submissions are encrypted in transit. Access to customer records is limited to the people at 4Pt Punchlist who need them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Children

This site is meant for adults hiring a contractor. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If a child has given us information, a parent or guardian can contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we change this page and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the current version.
